If that extra five, ten or more pounds is making you miserable, but you don’t want to deprive yourself of tasty snacks, celebrity personal trainer Lisa Lynn has some suggestions. Lynn told San Antonio’s SA Live viewers that substituting their current snack for her decadent peanut butter balls may support their weight-loss goals. This rich snack, featuring Sunfiber powdered fiber supplement, helps you feel fuller longer, so you’ll be less tempted to nibble on some high-calorie cookies later and more likely to lose weight.

Lisa Lynn has more than 30 years of experience helping people achieve their fitness goals via personal training and performance nutrition. In 2014 she published the book, The Metabolism Solution, which teaches people how to safely shed pounds. “The secret to losing weight is your metabolism,” she said. “The faster it goes, the faster you lose. And if you’re not losing, your metabolism is sleeping.”

To crank up your metabolism, Lisa suggests getting your cravings under control. “Get rid of your typical cheat foods and make these peanut butter balls,” she said. This high-fiber, high-protein snack boosts your metabolism and helps control your appetite.

Lisa Lynn’s Peanut Butter Balls
1 cup of natural peanut butter
2 tablespoons protein powder
1 tablespoon Malaysian sustainable palm oil
1 scoop Sunfiber soluble fiber supplement
¼ cup honey

Mix together in a large bowl. Powder your hands with flour, and then form mixture into one-inch balls. Store in the refrigerator or freezer.

Sunfiber is an easy way to add fiber to recipes. Unlike some other fiber supplements, Sunfiber doesn’t affect the taste or texture of food. “The Sunfiber in here makes it smooth and really delicious,” Lynn said. “It’s truly a regulating fiber.” Sunfiber helps with both occasional diarrhea and constipation. “It’s colorless and odorless.” There are also no uncomfortable side effects with Sunfiber. This gluten-free supplement helps weight control by promoting a satiety effect, or feeling of fullness. It also helps manage blood sugar levels.

Sunfiber is available online at Tomorrow’s Nutrition. It’s also an ingredient in many products, such as GNC’s Superfiber.
